Julie Sullivan-Redmond, LCSW-R, CGP offers individual and group therapy to help adults adapt to new roles or to face major life transitions. Julie has seventeen years of experience as a clinical social worker. She practices psychodynamic, cognitive and dialectical behavioral and EMDR therapy.
Julie uses a supportive interactive approach to help people clarify their concerns, set realistic goals, reduce tension and develop effective skills and strategies to correct negative self-beliefs, grieve losses and to move forward.
She received a MSW from New York University and a MA in Communications from Fairfield University. She is an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist, an AGPA Certified Group Therapist, and a Certified Teacher of the Realization Process, a body-centered practice taught by Judith Blackstone, Ph.D.
She completed the Advanced Training Program in Group Therapy and the Loss and Bereavement Training Program at the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services.
